Nth-order nonlinear intensity fluctuation amplifier

Stronger light intensity fluctuations are pursued by related applications such as optical resolution, image enhancement, and beam positioning. In this paper, an Nth-order fluctuation amplifier is proposed, which was demonstrated a four-wave mixing process with different statistical distribution coupling lights. Firstly, its amplification mechanism revealed both theoretically experimentally. The ratio R of distributions the degree second-order coherence g(2)(0) beams used to characterize affected modulations increased through process. results show that caused not only fluctuating fields incident beams, but also nonlinear coefficient interaction. At last, we highlight potentiality applying other effects.
